We Are...#3 After Beating the Badgers!
Spectacular. Breathtaking. Superlative. Magnificent. Stunning.
How many more adjectives can be used to describe the Nittany Lions' primetime win at Camp Randall? The Nittany Nation held its breath to see if we were really as good as we thought we were. In reality, we were much better. We beat Wisconsin by a stupefying 48-7 score in front of a raucous red & white crowd on ESPN, exceeding all expectations and moving into the #3 slot in the national polls.
The stats are out there for your reading pleasure. This week however, I'm going to motivate instead of recapping the game details as usual.
There are six more games to go, each one equally important as the seven you've already played. We're in the perfect spot - for now - to slide into the biggest game (you know the one) that we've played in over 25 years. Take them one game at a time, fellas. STAY FOCUSED. We have so much talent on both sides of the ball and on special teams...let's keep it that way. Each of you has stepped up when needed, and sometimes even without anyone asking. You all look amazing out there on the field, and you will continue to shine - both individually and as a team - each Saturday for the next six weeks. Stay the course. Your coach, your team, and your fans are with you.
